　　今天準備出門口上班之前看看計數器…原來已經八十八萬多了…只是不知道甚麼時候才可以到八十八萬八千八百八十八這個 LUCKY NUMBER…哈哈！！

　　想不到下班回家後就發現數字已經超過888888…嘎嘎！

　　其實也沒有甚麼特別啦…有空還是要寫多點好東西，才能讓更多人來這裡哦！～

一年前和一年後的分別

　　一年前，這裡只是一個沒有＂人氣＂的空間，死氣沉沉…

　　我寫的東西沒人看，就算是看了也等於沒看…
　　為了不讓這空間沉睡…也考慮了好久好久…

　　我在　設置－＞權限－＞私人－＞公共－＞保存．．．

　　完成設置後，我去STATCOUNTER申請了一個計數器，從此數字不停地往上跳動…

　　以下是一年的數據…上次ＭＳＮ升級好多BUG…人氣掉下來也正常…SAMUEL最近重新整理全部日誌，不知道何年何月才可以完成…最近都很忙！

　　　　跳上跳下…其實只不過是數字遊戲而已…

訪問？！？… 最後都是不了了之…

 

　　我記得好幾個月之前，香港ＰＣＷＥＥＫＬＹ有個記者在一篇日誌中留言說要訪問我，不過他把留言放在一些我很少見到的地方，所以我幾個月後才發現，聯絡他的時候已經太遲了…

　　後悔嗎？沒甚麼好後悔的，因為最近又收到記者的留言啦…這次的記者聰明多了，在最新的日誌留言…我第二天就看到了…

MSN SPACES再次更新…

　　今天MSN SPACES 給人一個耳目一新的感覺…增加了許多新function，所以我趕緊去看看那些高手們的spaces，看看到底更新了甚麼東西…首先我去了小綠人的spaces啦，因為他對這些事情是最敏感的，哈哈，果然…他已經把spaces的最新功能發布出來了，然後我就去msn spaces的開發spaces看看，果然有一大堆"雞腸"…大概看一看之後都知道發生了甚麼事…

　　下面直接從小綠人那裡弄過來啦，其實也多加了不少新功能呢 !!落伍的我該好好研究了，而且新簽名又要改動一下，因為原本的簽名的部分功能沒辦法和新版本SPACES一起用…遲些再說啦！

　　

 

今天Spaces新增一連串的功能，這是自從微軟發佈MSN Spaces以來最重大的更新，也就可以解釋最近這幾天為什麼基本資料無法使用的原因，因為更改幅度最大的就是Live Contacts(整合個人基本資料)，此一功能整合Messenger聯絡人和MSN會員目錄等，將來應該會整合到更多微軟Live.com的更多產品也說不定。所以這次並不是指有Spaces更新，而是整個微軟網路服務系統的更新。
　
什麼是Live Contacts ? 就是像有名的hi5交友網站和Yahoo 360網站一樣，你可以依照個人資料的隱密性來設定哪些資料該給哪些人看，哪些資料不給哪些人看，如果你的朋友更新部分資料，這些資料會同步的顯示在你的Messenger和Hotmail上；因為與Messenger整合，也就讓Messenger不再只是單純聯絡朋友的軟體，它更是認識新朋友的軟體，而Spaces(分享空間)可以當作你認識此人的一個方式。
所以各位趕快更新基本資料吧..

整合個人基本資料方面：

• 「增強個人基本資料功能 」功能分成一般資訊、社交資訊、聯絡資訊３個部份. 每個部份都能設定不一樣的權限，讓你選擇
  1.完全公開 2.以分享空間的設定相同 3.Messenger聯絡人 4.自訂檢視帳號
   其中的一種；而Messenger與Spaces上個人基本資料也共用一張網頁。
  　
    
• 「增強留言功能」留言功能同時支援圖片與網誌(皆可設定留言是否要開啟)，留言也增加的粗體、底線和斜體的格式設定，也能在留言超連結。 還有新增個人留言圖片按右鍵即可檢視留言著基本資料等資訊的功能 。(留言顯示順序也改變了)
          
   
• 「新增隱私控制-通訊喜好設定」(communication preferences)　當你有較隱私的設定，例如分享空間有非公開權限或是任何一種基本資料有非公開權限時，其他人如果要觀看，可以透過「要求檢視」的功能，跟你要求觀看的權限，而你會在編輯您的分享空間首頁看到檢視尚待回覆的要求 或是編輯基本資料欄裡發現 「您有 1 個尚待回覆的 Live Contacts 連絡資訊要求」，當你按下此連結就可以看到有誰在向你要求觀看權限；而此一功能就是設定誰有向你發送要求的權利。

資訊整合方面：

• 「圖書清單 與 Amazon.com 網站整合」. 可以自動從 Amazon.com 網站擷取圖書資訊，如果你有Amazon Associates 的帳號，以後只要有人從你的圖書清單連結到本書購買網頁並購買，你就能賺得一筆額外的介紹費(僅限美國、英國、加拿大、德國、法國、日本地區)，官方還說你可以剛好因此賺得購買此書的錢。
  　
• 「與Xbox Live整合」並增加Xbox Live 最近的遊戲、Xbox Live 玩家卡兩個模組。
   (小綠人沒玩不知道)

網誌搜尋方面：

• 「搜尋分享空間」分享空間首頁上方增加搜尋分享空間的功能 。
  　
• 「Mobile Search 」Mobile Spaces!(手機分享空間)增加Mobile Search功能 。
  　

其他新增功能：　

• 網誌下方增加「檢視其他網誌內容」、網誌上方增加下一則網誌與上一則網誌的功能 。
  　
• 「說明功能整合」，分享空間首頁上也增加學習與進階功能。
  　 　
• 「相簿儲存空間不再限制只有30MB」現在你每個月可以上傳500張圖片。
  　
• 「分享空間網址縮短」以前的 http://spaces.msn.com/members/%5Busername%5D 改為http://spaces.msn.com/[username] ，較長的網址仍然可用 。
  　 
• 「增加新的佈景主題」現在已超過100種主題並可分樣式選擇 。
  　
• 「電郵發佈更新」 可輸入３個電子郵件地址來發佈網誌內容 。
  　
• 「HTML PowerToy 模組可輸入的字數大幅增加」。

幾點說明:

1. 留言時暱稱顯示為「沒有名稱」、「noname」的解決辦法，請把個人基本資料圖片重新命名在上傳，並更新基本資料就可以解決了。
   　　　　
2. 目前應該會有很多人抱怨「留言順序越新越後面」、「相簿順序不能更改」、「基本資料圖片變小」等問題，但是可以自行向開發網誌反應，因為這次的更新，有些功能也是經過多人反應才出現的，所以並不是永遠都會是這樣子。
   　
    
3. 似乎有人搞不懂這次更新的便利性，因為這次更新的重點是基本個人資料的應用，也是為了提前與Windows Live Messenger 8.0 整合，而便利性是在於基本資料更容易互通及分享，也就是你可以把Spaces當成交友網站而Messenger 8.0就當成交友軟體，兩著合在一起就是一套很多網站想要達成的最終功能的整合社群網路服務，所以更新基本資料變成是很重要的動作，如果你覺得帶來的便利性很小反而帶來一些缺點，要跳槽就快吧，要走不需要跟小綠人報告，小綠人也不是什麼重要的人，儘管走就是了。 
   　
4. MSN Spaces 已經很少廣告了，例如Xbox Live是自家產品，廣告根本沒有什麼不對，而圖書清單的 Amazon.com 自動擷取圖書資訊也可以省下輸入書本介紹的時間，這項功能個人覺得很棒阿 。　
   
    
5. 推測可能是尚未測試完就發表了重大更新，所以bug明顯存在，而且有一個令人詬病的地方就是比以前還要消耗電腦資源，預估CPU不到1G是很難有順暢的效果，這一切的一切的一切已經有人在反映了，今天才第一天(1/27 明天除夕喔..新年快樂！)就再等等囉。

We have some great changes in MSN Spaces.

 

Have a picture that has a great story around it…you can now add a description to your photos.  Your viewers can now add comment to photos as well as blogs.  So make sure to go to someone’s photo album and leave a comment on your favorite photo as well.  We’ve also gotten rid of that pesky storage limit.  You can now upload up to 500 PHOTOS A MONTH! 

 

Great news for those of you living in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France or Japan.  You can now make money with MSN Spaces.  You heard me.  Make Money!  With Amazon.com if you sign up for an associates ID, whenever anyone buys a book from Amazon.com by linking through from your space, you get a portion of that.  So make sure to put up all of your favorite and maybe not so favorite books online.

 

If you live in the US or Canada, you can also earn money by allowing Kanoodle ads to run in your space.

 

In love with your brand new Xbox 360!  Of course you are.  Well now you can show that love by adding your Xbox Recent Games Played and your Xbox Gamercard to your MSN Space.  There are even five new themes all about Xbox.

 

Speaking of themes there are now over 100 to choose from.

 

We haven’t forgotten blogging either.  You can now post entries from three different email addresses instead of just one.  For those of you who like to keep your space clean, we have also included multiple check delete.  No more going click, delete, click, delete, click, delete.  Select all the ones you want to get rid of and click delete…..EASY!  We’ve included better blog navigation (i.e. View more entries links and Previous/Next within posts) and you can now choose how you want your blog entries to appear (by date or entry title)

 

And if all that is still not enough. We’ve beefed up permissions, Search , Integrated Member Directory and included lots of new fun stuff in Profile (General, Social, Contact Info), updated profile module with actionable photo, and included the Live Contacts Beta , which is launching as a feature in MSN Spaces.

 

We are launching in five new markets (Latin America, South Africa, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Singapore)

 

We’ve even cleaned up the URL’s.  No more /members/

 

And for you Powertoy users….We have increased the character limit on the HTML Powertoy, AND included new extensions that play in the Windows Media Powertoy.

 

There is much more that we haven’t mentioned here and still more on the horizon.  So keep your eyes peeled, and make sure to give us your feedback!

MSN Spaces users – we’ve heard you, and we know that you’ve been itching for a better search feature for spaces!  So we worked hard to give you lots of different ways to search for stuff and for other people using MSN Spaces. You’ll soon be able to search for blogs on specific topics, MSN Spaces on certain topics, find specific people based on name, location, age, gender, and more, and browse for people based on the things they said they’re interested in.

 

In fact, you can do all this searching and browsing now, but you may find the results you get back aren’t as, shall we say, “satisfying” as you may want. The search functionality works in some complicated (and sometimes mysterious J ways) but as we write this, and as you read this, we’re working on making your search experience better.  

 

At this point in time, there are two “ingredients” we need to make MSN Spaces search as perfect as it can be. You can help with both.

 

Here’s the first: add content to your MSN Space! This means you should publish what your interests are in your profile. Add some blog entries and post some photos. The more content you add, the more stuff there will be to search on.

 

Here’s the second: time. In order to make your content on MSN Spaces “searchable,” our search crawler needs to go out and crawl your content. Hmmm, this sounds kind of circular, you may be thinking. Well, maybe that sentence was, but the way this works isn’t J: on Jan 25^th we added a whole bunch of new code to spaces.msn.com. Some of it you can see (like some new features and new design) and some of it you can’t. The stuff you can’t see is code we added to your MSN Spaces pages that will make them searchable. And like we said above, it takes some time for our crawler to go out and crawl your MSN Spaces pages with this new search code on them.

 

So today, our search results may not look so hot. Three days from now, those results will look better. And a week or two from now, those results will look pretty darned good, and so on.

Member Directory and MSN Spaces Profile

Created back in 2000 Member Directory allowed users to create and search for Public profiles.  Since then, we’ve launched MSN Spaces and let’s just say that there were some redundancies between the services :-).  But also, we have gotten tons of requests to expand this already popular service, so we are taking it to the next level!    We have upgraded Member Directory into MSN Spaces Profile!

With this new and improved service you can:

 

• Increasing types of information you can share.
• Have control over who has private access to subsets of information rather than having to share all fields with the public.
• If you want to go beyond Profile you’ll have access to the latest in Spaces for features like themes, notifications via “gleams”, and showing up on contact card.

If you had an account on Member Directory it has been migrated over, so to get started using this great new product!

TARGET=_BLANK 也要封？！？…

 

一直以來，我都很喜歡在超連接後面多加上個一語句：TARGET=_BLANK　因為超好用啊！按下去直接跳出新窗口…

　　例如：

　　本來還用得好好的，不過最近這個語法好像被封了，在預覽的情況下還可以用，但一發布後就沒有這個功能了…原本這功能可以按下去直接跳出新窗口，可以防止按下面的按鈕後出現背景音樂停止的現象…ＢＵＴ現在被MSN SPACES硬生生的封了…

　　可能會有人問：有沒有補救的方法？答案不是沒有，但是每當要按下面的按鈕時要按鍵盤上的＂ＳＨＩＦＴ＂鍵…就可以解決了…但是又有多少人知道…

整理SPACE技術留言版…

 

　　今天特意早點起床，看看SPACE技術留言版!!裡面到底有多少朋友有問題想問…好多哦！看來我要想個方法整理一下啦…

　　其實我根本不是甚麼高手，＂老師＂這個稱號更加是受不起…不過既然有人詢問，我有空都會回應的…還記得1月1日的那片空白嗎？全部是用來整理以前的日誌用的…弄好了再說啦!!!

　　其實我已經找到方法處理那幾百個留言了，因為有很多留言是重複的，所以…嘿嘿…

空間の一年紀念…

　　已經在MSN SPACES中存在一年了…大家可以到踏踏腳印留言版看看，那篇日誌的發表日期是12/13/2004，到今天為止已經一年了…

　　當時我沒有馬上開放權限讓所有人進來，這裡本來只是一個很普通的網絡日記本而已…後來因為某些原因而開放了出來…

　　我ＣＨＥＣＫ過資料，平均每天的獨立ＩＰ超過2000人，不信的可以按這裡…我也覺得誇張了點，因為我都沒有告訴我的朋友有這個破空間…等到我整理好所有日誌時再告訴他們吧…

　　可能會有人會問我一年前和一年後有甚麼分別？除了版面變寬了，內容多了，留言多了，在我心裡剩下的只有空虛和寂寞…有時候真不知道自己該寫甚麼，不過有那麼多FANS，總捨不得放下鍵盤吧…

　　一年前我還盤算著和她的將來，不過現在甚麼都沒有嚕…去燒烤時被一堆同事盤問了好久，我就是沒有把真相說出來，因為我覺得我暫時還沒有找女朋友的打算，首先我不會追女仔啦，這是最大的死穴…而且要先有事業才有人要嘛，再說現在香港女多男少，要擔心的恐怕不會是我吧？哈！只是每次探望奶奶的時候都會被問到甚麼時候結婚的問題，哎…每次聽到心裡都很難受…

　　好了，廢話說完了，我又要躺回床上休息，最近感冒，難受得很…

更新日誌…10％…

　　　最近香港寬頻的網絡很不穩定…加上經常被老爸佔用電腦，所以每週的更新次數越來越少，但當我用了新方法發空白的＂佔領日誌＂後，這個月也總算可以儘量多寫了點東西…

　　下面隨便寫點東西，這個月寫的日誌也就差不多夠啦…

　　很多朋友的留言，我都有一一地看，只是沒空回覆而已，最近還有些朋友寫了一大段＂回應＂，其長度根本就可以當作一篇日誌發表了…厲害啦！真不知道怎麼回覆啊！

　　在PCCW的Training已經完結了，以後應該會越來越忙，更新全部日誌的計畫就慢慢來吧，思路已經有了，只是有沒有時間實現囉！七月時我說要改版這個破空間，其實還沒有改好，假如年底能完成，現在只能算是更新了10％而已…呵呵！
